Ethereum, meanwhile, is showing consistent strength with a current price of $3,745.77, up 0.40% on the day and over 5.4% on the week. According to leading crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe, the breakout rally could be just getting started.
In a recent post, van de Poppe explained that Ethereum has already tested its resistance zone four times without showing signs of a deeper pullback. He now believes that both Bitcoin and Ethereum are gearing up for their next major moves. If Bitcoin clears the $120K mark, he predicts Ethereum could surge past $4,000—and altcoins may begin delivering double-digit returns across the board.
The chart van de Poppe shared highlights Ethereum consolidating just under a key resistance range around $3,780–$3,800. With volume building and RSI remaining neutral, he sees conditions ripe for a bullish breakout. A move above $3,800 could trigger rapid upside, especially if Bitcoin rallies further.
The bullish momentum comes as institutional interest remains elevated, and macroeconomic uncertainty continues to push investors toward crypto as an alternative asset class. While short-term volatility remains a risk, the broader trend appears tilted in favor of continued upside—especially if key resistance levels are breached in the coming days.
