Crypto analyst Miles Deutscher believes altcoin season has officially kicked off, pointing to custom metrics and AI-driven data that suggest a surge in altcoin performance relative to Bitcoin.
In a recent video, Deutscher explained that nearly 70% of the top 50 altcoins have outperformed BTC over the past month — a sharp contrast to traditional indexes, which haven’t yet signaled an altcoin rally.
He attributes the shift to a breakdown in Bitcoin dominance, which has slipped below a key support level for the first time since late 2024.
Deutscher also emphasized Ethereum’s growing influence. With ETH ETFs gaining traction, regulatory clarity emerging, and institutional interest on the rise, he believes Ethereum is fueling renewed optimism across the altcoin market.\
To gauge relative strength, Deutscher tracks altcoin performance against ETH rather than BTC.
