Streamex (BSGM) CEO Henry McPhie has unveiled new details surrounding the company’s strategic merger with BioSig Technologies and its RWA tokenization strategy.
McPhie stated during a live interview that the merger will officially position Streamex as one of the first publicly traded real-world asset (RWA) tokenization companies focused on the $142 trillion commodities market.
With the merger, Streamex aims to bring real-world commodities on-chain through products tailored to the unique dynamics of the sector, in line with its mission of democratizing capital and enhancing asset efficiency.
According to McPhie, the company entered the crypto space just before the Circle IPO, which happened earlier this year, making it the perfect timing.
 
“We were lucky to get to the market even before the Circle IPO. With our merger with BSGM, we’ve brought Streamex to the Nasdaq, allowing us to deliver a truly innovative public vehicle for commodities tokenization.”
Streamex also has an ambition to create instruments that don’t exist today in the commodity space, thus “unlocking value, liquidity, and access.”
Apart from the perfect timing, the company also has strong backing for its mission from two veterans who will serve as advisors.
These are Shaun Rosen, founder of Osoco Mining, which was once North America’s largest mining operation, and Frank Giustra, a serial entrepreneur who has built multiple companies exceeding $50 billion in combined valuation.
Fully registered and regulated in Canada, Streamex is actively pursuing U.S. broker-dealer registration further to solidify its presence in North America’s markets. As a first mover in the RWA tokenization space, the company seeks to pave the path for commodity tokenization to go mainstream.
