Kendrick Lamar fills five spots on the U.K.’s Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart this week as … More
Kendrick Lamar and SZA only have a few dates in the United Kingdom on their Grand National Tour. The two superstars have already performed in Glasgow, Scotland, and Birmingham, England. Later this month, they will entertain massive crowds in Cardiff and London before heading to major cities across Europe and then traveling on to Central and South America.
Amidst all the excitement of the tour touching down in the U.K., Lamar’s fans have not only continued to consume his music, but have done so in such large numbers that multiple albums and singles return to the charts.
“Money Trees” and “TV Off” Return
Two of Lamar’s fan-favorite hits reappear on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart this week. “Money Trees,” a collaboration with Jay Rock, and “TV Off” with Lefty Gunplay, reenter the list of the bestselling hip-hop, R&B, and rap tracks in the country at Nos. 28 and 33, respectively. Those tunes join “All the Stars” with SZA (No. 6), “Not Like Us” (No. 9), and “Luther,” also with SZA (No. 10), on the same ranking.
Kendrick Lamar Beats Drake and The Weeknd
Lamar is the only artist who fills five spots on the 40-rung Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart this frame. Two other stars, Drake and The Weeknd, claim three wins each, but as “Money Trees” and “TV Off” return, Lamar jumps into first place among all acts.
Five Kendrick Lamar Albums Chart Together
A pair of Lamar’s albums also find their way back to various rankings. GNX, which the rapper is promoting on his current tour, reappears on four rosters and climbs the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, breaking back into the top 10. That recent release is joined by Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, which lands in second-to-last place at No. 39 on the same tally, after disappearing again not long ago.
After not taking up space on the genre-specific chart just days ago, those two bestsellers join To Pimp a Butterfly, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, and DAMN., all of which rise across the same roster.
