It’s almost time for the 2025 ESPY Awards. Some of the biggest stars and top athletes will attend tonight’s annual ceremony honoring the past year in sports. But what time does the show start, and how can you watch the ESPYs live on TV or via streaming?
The 2025 ESPY Awards (short for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards) will once again be produced by ESPN. This year’s ceremony will be hosted by comedian, actor and writer Shane Gillis. “I’m excited to be at The ESPYs this year,” he said in a statement. “I like sports so this should be a good time.”
The show will celebrate some of the year’s best moments, honor standout athletes and bring together fan-favorite stars from the world of sports. WNBA player Diana Taurasi and former USWNT star Alex Morgan will both receive the Icon Award in recognition of their lasting impact on sports. The full list of honorees is available on ESPN.
Viewers will also enjoy musical performances by popular rapper Busta Rhymes, hip-hop duo Clipse and rising artist GELO. The In Memoriam tribute will be led by Grammy-nominated artist Tobe Nwigwe, featuring David Michael Wyatt.
