The 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game is on Tuesday. What time does the game start and where can you watch it on free TV and streaming?
This year’s MLB All-Star Game marks the 95th edition of the exhibition game, which is frequently referred to as the “Midsummer Classic.” The outcome of the MLB All-Star game between the American League and National League used to determine which of the two leagues would have the home-field advantage during the World Series.
That rule was changed, however, in 2017 to give home-field advantage to the team with the best record during the regular season.
This year’s MLB All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday at Truist Park in Atlanta — the home stadium of the National League’s Atlanta Braves — beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast live on free TV on FOX, and can be streamed live online on FOXSports.com and the Fox Sports app if you sign in with your pay-TV provider.
Since 2014, the American League has dominated the National League at the MLB All-Star Game, winning nine of the last matchups. The National League’s only win in the previous 10 games happened in 2023.
Overall, the American League leads the National League in wins with a 48-44-2 record.
