Nexo partners with DP World Tour, launches Championship at Trump International

Nexo, a digital assets wealth platform, has secured a three-year partnership with the DP World Tour, becoming the Tour’s Official Digital Asset and Wealth Partner through 2027, according to the reports shared with Finbold on July 2. The deal marks the first sponsorship between a cryptocurrency platform and a major professional golf tour.

The partnership will start with six tournaments in 2025, including the Genesis Scottish Open, the Betfred British Masters, the BMW PGA Championship, the Abu Dhabi Championship, and the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

Trump International hosts flagship event

The centerpiece of the 2025 calendar is the newly renamed Nexo Championship, scheduled for August 7–10, 2025, at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. 

Antoni Trenchev, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Nexo, described the partnership as:

Nexo will provide premium hospitality and branding at each event, targeting the tour’s affluent audience. 

Founded in 2018, the platform manages crypto assets for high-net-worth clients and views the golf partnership as part of its international expansion strategy.
