Binance to Pause Polygon Deposits and Withdrawals During Network Upgrade

Binance has announced it will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals on the Polygon (POL) network to support an upcoming upgrade and hard fork scheduled for July 1, 2025.

According to the exchange, this pause will begin at 11:10 UTC and is intended to ensure everything runs smoothly during the technical update. The upgrade is set to happen at block number 73,440,256, which is expected to be reached around 12:10 UTC on the same day.

Despite the brief pause in deposits and withdrawals, trading of POL tokens on Binance will continue as normal. Users won’t need to do anything — Binance will manage all the technical work behind the scenes.

Once the update is complete and the network is running steadily again, deposits and withdrawals will automatically reopen. Binance said it won’t issue another update, so users should keep an eye on the platform to see when things are back online.

This upgrade is part of Polygon’s ongoing efforts to improve performance and stability, and Binance is making sure the process is as smooth as possible for its users.
