Is Huda Going Home On ‘Love Island USA’ Tonight? The Jeremiah Drama Explained

America voted, and they got what they wanted: a Huda crash-out on (almost) live television. The latest episodes of Love Island USA Season 7 have been the most dramatic since the show returned in early June. So, what’s going on between Huda and Jeremiah, and could Huda be leaving the villa tonight?

Huda and Jeremiah have been paired up since Day 1, instantly forming both an emotional and physical connection. As new bombshells entered the villa, Huda marked her territory, telling the new women that Jeremiah was basically off-limits (even though they were both still open to chats). She also didn’t like when Jeremiah kissed other women during challenges, despite the fact that she kissed other guys too.

One major moment between the couple came when Huda revealed that she was a mother, and fans took note of Jeremiah’s concerning initial reaction. However, they quickly moved past the secret, and he accepted that important part of her life. The pair even became the first couple in Season 7 to receive a one-on-one date, a trip to a waterpark, where they discussed their future outside the villa.

But everything in Fiji isn’t as perfect as it seems, and eventually, cracks in their relationship started to show. Is Jeremiah love-bombing her and scamming her just to make it to the end? Is it okay that Huda often cuts him off and refuses to let him talk about their “drama” with the other bombshells? Then came Pancake Gate, when Huda criticized Jeremiah’s undercooked pancakes, asked Taylor to remake them, then got upset when Jeremiah hadn’t offered to help her in the kitchen.

So when America got the chance to play matchmaker and decide who the new bombshells – Iris, Pepe, and Jalen – would couple up with, all hell broke loose. Fans cast their votes in Episode 10, and the shocking results were unveiled at the firepit in Episode 12.

What Happened Between Huda And Jeremiah?

Fans jumped at the chance to pair Jeremiah with Iris, a move that left Huda single and immediately at risk of getting dumped from the villa. Social media exploded with reactions, with many viewers admitting they’d turned on the couple due to Huda and Jeremiah’s behavior and what they deemed was a toxic relationship.

From Day 1, Huda and Jeremiah had been closed off to other connections, which is a rare move so early in Love Island. Even some Islanders, including Ace and Nic, voiced concerns about their tunnel vision. Olandria told Huda early on that Jeremiah might be love-bombing her.

But for Huda, who is a mother (a fact she hasn’t shared with all of the Islanders yet), she explained that she’s been protective of herself and takes dating in the competition seriously because she has a daughter at home.

How Did Huda React To America’s Decision And Jeremiah’s Reaction?

Huda was completely blindsided when host Ariana Madix announced that America wanted Iris to be with Jeremiah. “What… What the f*ck,” she gasped, later telling Madix that it felt like she had been slapped in the face. “I feel like we had the best connection in here.”

The fitness trainer became even more distraught moments later when she found out she was one of three Islanders at risk of going home. Her fate was in the hands of the contestants who were not coupled up with the new bombshells.

Both Ace and Nic voted to have her kicked out of the villa because she didn’t explore other connections and was so “closed off” from the start. In the end, it wasn’t Huda who got kicked out of the villa. Charlie was sent packing, despite his strong connection with Hannah.

Viewers witnessed the fallout in Episode 13, as the tension between Huda and Jeremiah reached a boiling point. Huda was extremely upset that after everything she had just been through, including nearly getting dumped from the villa, Jeremiah didn’t even check in to see how she was doing.

“This dude did not check on me once during this whole thing, and I feel stupid. I trusted this person with so much. I was go genuine and I almost got voted off because he was not genuine… I don’t know if they want him to find better or me to find better,” she told the girls.

While she was in the shower, Jeremiah overheard her venting, saying things like “my husband would never” and “you’re a f*cking b*tch,” which really rubbed him the wrong way. While he admitted to Austin that he should have comforted her after she almost got eliminated, he claimed he wasn’t in the right headspace.

The next morning, Jeremiah headed out on a beach date with Iris and the other bombshells. Later, while recapping the date with the boys, Huda sneaked up behind them and overheard their conversation. He said his relationship with Huda was “cooked” after he heard her comments in the shower. He even said he wished that Huda was the one who was sent home last night.

“Truthfully now in hindsight like I’d rather Huda have gone home just because of the way she reacted,” he told the guys. But Nic told Jeremiah that he lost respect for him based on how he handled the situation after the firepit, especially for not comforting Huda when she needed his support.

Is Huda In Danger Of Going Home In Love Island USA Season 7, Episode 14?

At the end of Episode 13, Jeremiah finally pulled Huda for a chat, where he apologized for not being there for her. She accused him of playing the victim, called him extremely selfish, and said she’d noticed a pattern of that behavior. “You don’t care about me in that way,” she said, to which he responded that was “a stretch.”

“I don’t want sh*t to do with you,” she said at the end of the episode.

Huda calling things off with Jeremiah leaves her vulnerable heading into Episode 14, which airs Tuesday, June 17. In the teaser, a new recoupling is on the horizon — and with Huda the only single woman, there’s a strong chance she could be heading out the door.
