Tier-1 centralized crypto exchange Bybit has announced its own Solana-based decentralized exchange, Byreal.
With the testnet launching in June and full rollout expected in Q3, the platform aims to merge CEX-grade liquidity with DeFi-native transparency, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou announced on X this Sunday.
Bybit’s entry into the Solana DEX market shines the spotlight on one of the most promising growth frontiers in the crypto market. With on-chain volumes climbing and Solana dApps generating exceptional revenue, the upside potential for DEX-focused tokens is hard to overstate.
For instance, the new Solana layer-2 platform, Solaxy (SOLX), has announced a Solaxy DEX, as well as a competitor to Pump.Fun, called the Igniter Protocol. Unsurprisingly, SOLX raised over $53 million in its ICO and is being viewed as the best DEX crypto to buy now.

Giving a peek under its hood, the Bybt CEO revealed that Byreal is designed using RFQ (Request for Quote) and CLMM (Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker) routing. Users can reportedly benefit from low-slippage, MEV protection and high speed.
Bybit’s entry into the Solana DEX space isn’t surprising. In just the first 5 months of 2025, Solana DEXs have already recorded $890 million in trading volume, roughly 90.7% of the total DEX volume of 2024, data from Solana Floor reveals.
Solana Floor also reports that SOL-based decentralized applications are generating staggering revenues. For instance, a decentralized trading platform, Axiom Exchange, has hit $100 million in revenue in 129 days, the fastest growth recorded in crypto history.
Meanwhile, Solana as a whole has outperformed every other blockchain, both layer-1s and layer-2s, in network revenue for 8 straight months.
Just Pump.Fun has frequently outperformed the entire Ethereum blockchain in 24-hour on-chain revenue.
With Bybit set to become a major player in the space, it stands to benefit significantly from Solana’s rapidly expanding ecosystem. However, there’s currently no direct way for investors to capitalize on Bybit’s success.
Meanwhile, the all-new Solaxy DEX could present an excellent opportunity for sidelined investors, especially since its native token is already being viewed as the next 10x crypto.
