‘And Just Like That…’ Season 3 Release Schedule—When Do New Episodes Drop?

The beloved New York City trio is back – and so is Carrie’s iconic voiceover. The third installment of the Sex and the City reboot premieres Thursday, May 29. Here’s everything you need to know about And Just Like That… Season 3 and what’s next for your favorite characters.

In Season 3, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), Seema (Sarita Choudhury), and LTW (Nicole Ari Parker) continue to navigate the “complicated reality of life, love, sex, and friendship in their 50s in New York City,” according to the synopsis.

As seen in the season trailer narrated by Carrie, she’s giving fiction a try. The writer is now working on a “romantasy” novel that may or may not be titled “Sex and the Cauldron.” Unfortunately, at the same time, her relationship with Aidan (John Corbett) is also up in the air. In the Season 2 finale, he asked if they could take a five-year break until his son, Wyatt, is no longer a teenager.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Michael Patrick King teased that Carrie and Aidan’s relationship will be “a big plot point” this season.

“I have no interest in torturing an audience too much,” he explained. “The Carrie-Aidan relationship is dramatic and exciting because it contains two points of view. I think half the fans who do not want Carrie to be in a relationship will be like, ‘Enough!’ The other half will understand that when you love somebody, what comes with them is their family.”

King also hinted at romantic storylines for other characters, including several “new loves” and “new obstacles for old loves.” He continued, “Dating at 50 is an interesting thing. We have married characters, we have single characters, we have characters trying to work their current relationships out. It is kind of a maze of how you move through the world at this point in your life.”
