Alchemy, the leading Web3 infrastructure provider, has acquired HeyMint, an NFT launchpad and Web3 engagement platform, in a move aimed at expanding its Smart Wallets product line and accelerating mainstream adoption of decentralized apps.
The acquisition was finalized on April 30, though the financial terms were not disclosed, according to a company spokesperson speaking to The Block.
HeyMint is known for building user-friendly NFT and Web3 onboarding tools, including HeyMint Quest, which helps creators and brands drive engagement. The company’s core team will now join Alchemy, contributing to the growth and developer support of Alchemy’s Smart Wallets—a platform designed to simplify Web3 login and onboarding for everyday users.
“We’ve always believed that onboarding is the most critical—and most broken—part of Web3,” said HeyMint co-founder Flor Ronsmans De Vry. “Joining Alchemy gives us the scale to take that mission even further—and bring secure, intuitive onboarding to the next billion users.”
Alchemy Smart Wallets aim to make blockchain access seamless, using features like gasless transactions, social login, and account abstraction to remove the friction that has historically limited Web3 adoption.
The acquisition underscores Alchemy’s growing focus on infrastructure tailored for mainstream use, particularly at a time when demand for simplified, secure user experiences is rising across the NFT, gaming, and DeFi sectors.
By integrating HeyMint’s toolset and team, Alchemy is positioning itself to lead the next phase of Web3 usability and accessibility, aiming to bridge the gap between technical blockchain environments and consumer-grade applications.
