Bad Bunny’s Album Enjoys A 15,000% Sales Spike

Bad Bunny thrilled fans in early 2025 with the release of a brand new album. Debí Tirar Más Fotos arrived just a few days into the new year, but he made his followers wait to get their hands on a copy on one increasingly popular format: vinyl. Once nearly extinct in the mainstream music industry, vinyl has experienced a major resurgence in recent years, and is now responsible for some major chart success stories.

Months after Debí Tirar Más Fotos first debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the collection returns to the top spot on multiple Billboard rankings, thanks to its long-awaited vinyl release, as the sales spike following the format’s drop was incredible.

Bad Bunny’s 15,000% Sales Jump

According to Luminate, during the latest tracking frame, Debí Tirar Más Fotos sold just over 48,000 copies in the U.S. The week prior, before the vinyl became available, the album managed only slightly more than 300 copies. From one frame to the next, the jump was staggering.

In the U.S. alone, Bad Bunny’s latest full-length saw total purchases skyrocket by just under 15,100%. When a project experiences that kind of explosive growth, it’s bound to vault up the charts.

Bad Bunny Hits No. 1 on Multiple Charts

Debí Tirar Más Fotos is currently featured on five Billboard tallies. It reaches No. 1 on all but one of them — and does so in four different ways.

The title vaults from No. 7 to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the all-consumption list of the most popular full-lengths in the country. It also reappears out of nowhere at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart, hitting the summit for the first time. This is now the fifth frame Debí Tirar Más Fotos has spent somewhere on that roster.

The project remains unmoved at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums list, while at the same time debuting at No. 1 on the Vinyl Albums ranking. The set earns the Puerto Rican rapper and singer his second champion on that chart.

Bad Bunny’s Streams Dip Slightly

Debí Tirar Más Fotos only fails to lead the charge on the Top Streaming Albums chart, which is unaffected by the vinyl release. On that tally, it dips one rung, falling from No. 5 to No. 6.

In the latest tracking span, Debí Tirar Más Fotos moved 84,500 equivalent album units in total. That figure includes both sales and streaming activity. Pure purchases made up more than half of that sum, while streams actually declined slightly compared to the previous frame.
