A wallet linked to the developers behind the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) has quietly accumulated a sizable position in SKYAI, a relatively obscure altcoin.
On-chain data shows the wallet spent $75,000 to acquire SKYAI at an average price of $0.04634. As of now, the token trades just above $0.050, posting an 11% gain in the past 24 hours.
Despite running on BSC infrastructure, SKYAI remains unlisted on Binance, yet it has now emerged as the largest asset in the BSC Foundation’s portfolio, surpassing previously favored tokens like TST, which had been publicly backed by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ).
The foundation now holds approximately $2.16 million worth of SKYAI, or about $109,000 in current value. Other notable holdings include TST ($47,000), MUBARAK ($35,000), and BROCCOLI ($29,000)—all of which have been previously mentioned by CZ on social media, hinting at a pattern of internal interest or soft promotion.
The BSC Foundation has also previously shown interest in AI-linked tokens, including AIOT, suggesting a broader strategy to position itself within the growing artificial intelligence and Web3 token space.
While SKYAI’s market cap hovers around $50 million, its sudden rise to prominence within BSC’s core holdings may raise new questions about future listings or strategic alignment—especially given its current trading performance and lack of exposure on major exchanges.
