Sogni Partners with Salad to Scale Decentralized GPU Network for Creative AI

AI Compute Access Expanded with Salad-Powered Node Rentals

Sogni AI, a decentralized platform for creative AI tools, has partnered with Salad Technologies to significantly boost compute power for its Supernet. The collaboration enables Sogni users to tap into Salad’s network of over 60,000 GPUs, streamlining access to decentralized AI workloads.

Now available as pre-configured “Recipes” on the Salad platform, Sogni’s Flux Worker and Stable Diffusion Worker allow anyone with a Salad account to deploy AI nodes instantly. These nodes come preloaded with the necessary software and models, earning $SOGNI tokens for completed tasks on the Supernet.

Token Rewards for GPU Contributors and Renters

While the Supernet remains in its Testnet phase, Sogni reports that a single Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU running its Fast Worker configuration can earn approximately $350/month in $SOGNI tokens. Even after Salad’s rental fees, users renting GPUs are expected to see competitive returns, outperforming many Web2 and Web3 alternatives.

“Salad is the easiest on-ramp yet for contributors looking to support creative AI,” said Mark Ledford, CTO of Sogni. “Salad worker nodes perform identically to owner-run setups, but offer the added benefit of scalable deployment on demand.”

Accelerating Sogni’s DePIN Strategy

This integration advances Sogni’s broader DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) roadmap, which aims to crowdsource high-performance computing. The project has seen explosive growth—from 10,000 to over 340,000 users during its Testnet phase—driven by its community of GPU node operators.

Currently, Sogni’s decentralized network processes over 1.5 million image generations per day, supporting more than 100 generative AI models.

“Our distributed GPU network is built for startups like Sogni—cost-effective, scalable, and fast,” said Bob Miles, CEO of Salad. “Their vision of democratized, crowd-powered AI aligns perfectly with our mission.”

Next Steps: AI Video and Beyond

Sogni plans to build on its momentum with a transition to AI video generation as part of its next major development milestone. The company recently secured $2 million in new funding to support this expansion.

“The Sogni Supernet is a network of networks,” said Mauvis Ledford, Sogni’s CTO. “Thanks to partners like Salad, our contributors—whether gamers, artists, or developers—can earn together and keep open-source AI infrastructure in the hands of the people who use it.”
