Projecting a potential top around the $130,000 mark — but not without risks, Pizzino points to Bitcoin’s historical price patterns to outline a possible third major rally. According to him, BTC’s recent moves suggest a repeatable trend that could push the asset to a fresh all-time high.
“We’ve seen two $60,000 moves, almost to the dollar, which is pretty incredible when you consider that this market has gone even more global,” Pizzino said. “If the next leg follows this pattern, Bitcoin could climb from its recent low toward $130,000.”
Repeating Patterns for Bitcoin: $60K Increments
Pizzino’s analysis draws attention to two key rallies:
- From the November 2022 low at $15,000 to the April 2024 peak of $74,000 — a $59,000 gain.
- From the August 2024 dip to the most recent peak — another near-identical $60,000 rise.
He notes that if Bitcoin is to continue the pattern, a third wave could launch from the current support zone and bring the asset to approximately $130,000.
Gains Shrinking as Market Matures
Despite the potential upside, Pizzino cautions that risk is rising, and profit margins are shrinking as Bitcoin’s market cap grows.
“The game is becoming quite finite,” he warned. “From this price up, the returns are obviously getting slimmer… You need a lot more money going into it to get to those prices.”
For newer investors, Pizzino emphasized the importance of risk management, saying those entering the market now should be prepared with tight stop losses and realistic expectations.
“If you’ve been in here for a while, maybe since 2020 or earlier, you’re potentially up thousands of percent. But if you’re entering now, the gains are limited unless you’re very strategic.”
Bitcoin is currently trading around $83,000, with market watchers closely monitoring whether this potential final rally will materialize or if BTC will consolidate further before a new cycle begins.
