Ronaldinho launched the STAR10 token

Professional soccer star Ronaldinho Gausha has launched the STAR10 token on the BNB Chain.

“Designed for those who dream big, holding this token grants you exclusive experiences, real benefits, signed collectibles, and even my own AI Agent — built for those who want to be part of history,” the soccer player said in an announcement.

Since launch, the asset has reached a peak price of $0.3872. At the time of publication, the token’s daily growth rate is 34.6% at $0.275, according to CoinGecko. It has a market capitalization of over $24.37 million and an FDV of $294.91 million, with a total STAR10 issue size of $1 billion.

According to Lookonchain, a wallet associated with the project team spent 80 BNB (~$50,000) to buy 122.45 million tokens, representing 12.24% of the total supply. After selling 1 million tokens for 433 BNB (~$270,000), the address was left with 121.44 million STAR10 (~$33.5 million or 12.14% of the issue).

Another wallet linked to insider activity invested 48 BNB to buy 20.79 million STAR10s, according to Onchain Lens.

The address sold 119,278 tokens for BNB54 (~$33,106). The insider still has 20.68 million STAR10 worth $4.93 million on its balance sheet.

GoPlus’ team of analysts found that the contract holder can burn any holders’ tokens at any time. The researchers’ publication was reposted by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao.

At the moment, token ownership has not been revoked, and this puts all investors at risk. Experts urge developers to immediately relinquish control to protect users.

Earlier, CoinDesk speculated that American musician Kanye West (Ye) would launch the YZY token for his Yeezy clothing brand on February 21. The rapper later announced his intention to issue a Swasticoin token, but deleted all related posts.

Subsequently, West denied rumors of interaction with Influencers, as well as the launch of the meme token.

Recall, in 2023, Ronaldinho denied involvement in a $61 million cryptoscam.
