On February 10th, MTT Sports concluded its Week 19 tournament.
MTT Sports is a revolutionary esports platform offering free weekly tournaments with a prize pool equivalent to 1 BTC. With a total prize pool valued at over $10 million, these events are open to players worldwide, requiring no financial investment to participate.
The Week 19 tournament attracted 24,000 participants, with 174 advancing to the finals. In an impressive performance, Russian player “Monolit86” clinched the top spot, securing a prize of 0.35 BTC.
“Monolit86” is the second female player to win the tournament since its inception 19 weeks ago. The first was “KristinaE” from Russia, who triumphed in Week 10, becoming the first female champion in the tournament’s history.
In terms of prize distribution, this week saw 10 players from Russia, 10 from Thailand, and 7 from Ukraine enter the prize pool, each earning BTC. The competition remains dominated by three strong regions.
Additionally, Spanish-speaking players are emerging as a rising force in the tournament scene. Mexican player “José Juan Gmz” advanced to the finals, ranking 19th in points. Previously, he had claimed victory in Week 13, securing 0.35 BTC. Based on his performance, “José Juan Gmz” seemed poised to challenge for the title again. Unfortunately, a bold decision in his gameplay led to an elimination at 103rd place, preventing him from entering the BTC prize pool.
As of February 10th, MTT Sports has awarded a total of 19 BTC through its free weekly tournaments. Players from Thailand, Taiwan, and Russia have collectively earned 5.413, 3.465, and 3.406 BTC, respectively.
With 81 more BTC prizes yet to be awarded, MTT Sports’ weekly tournaments continue, offering players worldwide the chance to showcase their skills on the global stage.
