More crypto ETFs are expected to be approved in 2025, with Donald Trump inaugurated and SEC Chairman Gary Gensler stepping down.
At this point, while ETF applications were previously received for XRP, Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC) and Hedera (HBAR), this week ETF applications were also received for memecoins named Dogecoin (DOGE), BONK and TRUMP.
While more altcoin ETF applications are expected at this point, ETF Store CEO Nate Geraci claimed that Cardano (ADA) will be the next focus for spot ETF applications.

Nate Geraci, CEO of The ETF Store, a US-based asset management firm, said that Cardano will be the next altcoin targeted by asset managers for spot ETF applications.
Sharing from his X account, Geraci shared an image showing the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market value.
According to this ranking, the analyst stated that two of them already have spot ETFs and three of them have spot ETF applications, and the biggest potential candidate is Cardano.
