OKX Jumpstart Launches ANIME Mining for Animecoin Debut

OKX users can mine 80M ANIME tokens through OKB or BTC staking.

OKX announces Animecoin mining for Jumpstart. It offers customers to stake OKB or BTC in order to receive ANIME tokens. The mining period starts on January 20 at 06:00 am UTC and ends on January 23, at 06:00 am UTC. This follows one week before the Animecoin launch on the Ethereum and Arbitrum blockchains scheduled for January 23.

Animecoin is described as the next gratitude token designed to bring anime culture on-chain through OKX Jumpstart. This platform promotes high-quality investments in blockchain-related projects. For instance, citizens from Hong Kong and South Korea are prohibited from participating in its ANIME mining program.

Eligible participants may stake their OKB or BTC for mining to receive up to 80,000,000 ANIME. There are two pools of reward. The ANIME tokens given as rewards consist of 53,333,334 ANIME from OKB staking and 26,666,666 ANIME from BTC staking. The platform does not set a minimum for staking but limits the maximum to 600 OKB and 0.3 BTC.

Animecoin Opens Horizons with Strategic Partnerships

Animecoin is part of the preparations for its token launch on January 23. The launch is supported by the Arbitrum Foundation, Azuki, and the Web3 Foundation. It intends to group all anime fans in the crypto space and has secured partnerships with Hyperliquid and Kaito AI.

According to a detailed announcement on January 13, Animecoin plans to allocate 50.5% of its total token supply to the community in emphasizing its decentralized and user-focused mission. Additionally, early adopters who join via the project’s Telegram channel will be eligible for special rewards and future allocation multipliers.

In that regard, 37.5% of the tokens were allocated directly to the community as early supporters, while 13% were designated for the future AnimeDAO.
