President-elect Donald Trump’s World Liberty Financial crypto investments has added $12 million in Ethereum (ETH), Chainlink (LINK), and Aave (AAVE) during the recent market downturn. These assets have since gained value, reflecting the market’s recovery over the past 24 hours.
According to Spot On Chain, World Liberty Financial purchased 2,631 ETH for $10 million at an average price of $3,801 per token. The platform also acquired 3,357 AAVE for $1 million at $297.80 per token and 41,335 LINK for $1 million at $24.19 per coin. As of now, World Liberty Financial crypto investments have grown to $64.3 million in total asset value.
Currently, World Liberty Financial crypto investments include 14,573 ETH, 3.108 million USDT, 1.515 million USDC, 41,335 LINK, and 3,357 AAVE. Smaller amounts of LimeWire (LMWR), Alchemy Pay (ACH), Wrapped Ether (WETH), Safe (SAFE), and Uniswap (UNI) are also part of its holdings. Notably, this marks WLFI’s first acquisition of AAVE and LINK, indicating a strategic expansion into DeFi tokens.
ETH Leads WLFI’s Crypto Investment Strategy
Meanwhile, Over the past 12 days, World Liberty Financial allocated $30 million USDC to purchase 8,105 ETH at an average price of $3,701. As of now, ETH trades at $3,944.66, showing an 8% increase in the last 24 hours. According to CoinMarketCap, ETH is currently 19.44% below its all-time high of $4,891.70.
