This Binance-Listed Altcoin Announces Partnership with Giant Japanese Company

Injective (INJ), a layer-1 blockchain on the Cosmos network, has announced that NTT Digital, a subsidiary of Japan’s largest telecom company NTT Docomo, has joined the platform as its latest validator.

The news was shared via Injective’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

The announcement emphasized that NTT is a Fortune 500 company and one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies and indicated the scale of this collaboration:

“NTT Digital, Japan’s largest telecommunications company, has officially joined Injective as its latest validator! NTT has chosen Injective as its main blockchain partner for its expansion into Web3.”

Injective Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that offers a decentralized exchange (DEX) for trading derivatives and futures. It runs on a layer-2 blockchain, providing high speed, scalability, and zero gas fees.

Injective was first introduced in 2018 as part of the Binance Labs Incubation Program. It was founded by Eric Chen and Albert Chon with the aim of creating an Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) enabled network that would allow Ethereum-based assets to be traded on its DEX.
