A new Pokemon GO event, “Wild Area” has been revealed. The starting date of this event will be November 16th to 17th in Fukuoka, Japan. The event is set to take place globally from November 23rd to 24th.

The event announcement took place on August 29 with details of dates and venue for the players. The trainers in Japan can join the event between November 16th and 17th in Fuokoka while the rest of the world can play the event from November 23 to 24th.
Wild Area event may be like Pokemon GO’s previous Safari Zone event
The announcement did not provide any further details regarding the event. It only mentioned for fans to keep a look out for future updates coming soon. The event may have a likeness to Pokemon Go’s previous events like Safari Zone where players have to buy the ticket for event enrty or are required to catch the special spawns of Pokemon around the area.
Pokemon Go has been actively organizing such events over the years. It also celebrated its 8th anniversary earlier in the year.
Pokemon Go has organized an annual Pokemon Go fest event since 2017. In 2020, the festival also started its celebrations globally. It has been known as the biggest Pokemon event every year in multiple cities since 2022.
Pokemon GO will be holding Community Day with Poppilo on August 31st as well. This event has taken place every month since 2018.
On September 3rd Pokemon GO will begin its new battle season.
Pokemon has another event coming up called Go All Out on September 3rd. 13 new Pokemons will have their debut in this event like Scorbunny, Grookey, and Sobble as Galar region starters. Stonjourner will exclusively be available for UK regions as an incentive for people coming from another region.
