RFK Jr To Contest Against Donald Trump post-Endorsement

The complications in the United States electoral laws will keep Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) Jr in the race against Donald Trump. The Wisconsin Elections Commission has decided to keep RFK Jr on the ballot in the state, an unusual twist in the race for the White House.

RFK Jr Not a Threat to Donald Trump

Following an elaborate proceeding last week, Robert F. Kennedy ended his political bid to endorse Trump. While many considered this a major positive move, the 6-man Wisconsin Elections Commission thinks differently. By voting 5-to-1, the members of the electoral body chose to keep Robert F. Kennedy on the ballot.

Citing state laws, they noted that once Candidates has filed to contest, their names cannot be removed again. This is a major blow to the Republican Candidate as RFK Jr cannot lend his support to him in the State. Wisconsin was considered a swing state in the 2020 electoral cycle and is equally as important in the coming election.

While the pro-Bitcoin politician has not commented on this latest update, it remains uncertain that he will make a move against Donald Trump leading to the election. An appeal against the decision of the Wisconsin Elections Commission also failed with a 3-3 vote on the matter.

The Kennedy Campaign team has already noted according to Spectrum News 1 that his supporters may continue to back him in states he could not sway. The endorsement of the former President has brought a lot of backlash to him. Despite this, core crypto leaders like Charles Hoskinson switched to backing Trump following the RFK Jr endorsement.

The Trump Hype Continues To Grow

As the Polymarket favorite to win the coming elections per current poll readings, the hype has not faded off the Trump Campaign since Robert F. Kennedy dropped out of the game.

As reported earlier by Coingape, the former President has dropped Series 4 NFT Collection ahead of next election. Beyond this, the forthcoming electoral debates remains top on the bucket list for both Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. While the drop in the White House bid has automatically excluded RFK Jr, the question for many remains whether his sacrifice will pay off at the end.
