The lead developer of Shiba Inu finally confirms community speculation, breaking the silence on X after weeks of no posts.

Shytoshi Kusama, the foremost figure of the Shiba Inu development team, has finally reacted on the social media platform X to “confirm” with community members.

While Kusama Was Away

Kusama’s posts come after nearly a month of being in the shadows, merely retweeting posts concerning the ecosystem without posting himself directly.

Also, during his periods of passive presence, he has frequently modified his location on social media to give Shiba Inu community members clues about his whereabouts. 

For instance, The Crypto Basic noted when Kusama’s X location indicated Singapore. Shortly after that, Japan-based Shiba Inu enthusiast KURO pointed out that his location had shifted to Hong Kong and subsequently to Dubai. 

Just yesterday, The Crypto Basic revealed that Shytoshi Kusama’s social media location showed New South Wales, Australia. At press time, Kusama has hidden hints to his present location.

These consistently switching locations have birthed intense speculation from the SHIB Army, leading them to assume that something significant might be in the works for Shiba Inu.

Shiba Inu Lead “Confirms”

Interestingly, the Shiba Inu leading figure has affirmed the community speculation as he breaks his silence. Taking to X on Wednesday, February 7, Kusama posted: “Confirming with the guys… nice to meet you!”

The post garnered significant engagement, with the Shiba Inu community welcoming and reacting positively. X user Jolt remarked, “This could mean many good things [for ] SHIB Army. Let’s go!…”

Meanwhile, a Shiba Inu enthusiast from Korea asked Shytoshi Kusama about his travels to various countries, expressing the SHIB Army’s eagerness for information. They mentioned the need to know if there are any significant developments for SHIB, noting Kusama’s prolonged silence.
