Bitget Wallet Appoints ex-BNB Chain Executive Alvin Kan as New Chief Operations Officer

Bitget Wallet officially announced the appointment of Alvin Kan as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kan is a former senior executive at BNB Chain and will be expected to lead Bitget Wallet towards realizing its global growth strategies and steer it towards brand development, scaling initiatives and operations.

Alvin Kan already has an effective track record spanning over 1 decade and a half of experience. Before Bitget Wallet, Kan was the Head of Asia at Sei Labs and head of ecosystem growth at BNB Chain. He also had a remarkable stint at LinkedIn heading the Asia-Pacific data team where he performed crucial roles in leading the networking platform towards realizing its strategic development plans in Asia.

Professional-wise, Kan has a strong background in data analysis, market growth and business models across Web2 platforms. He already has built a massive portfolio of working with Web3 ecosystems, hence equipping him with the skills, experience and business acumen to lead Bitget Wallet towards realizing its global growth strategies. According to the official announcement, Kan’s leadership style will be instrumental in shaping Bitget’s roadmap and strategizing for the upcoming year. All of which aims to elevate the brand’s worldwide presence and acceptance.

While commenting about his appointment, Kan emphasized the need for a proactive and genius strategy when acquiring new users for Bitget Wallet, expanding the range of available assets and exploring fresh business opportunities.

According to Kan, Bitget Wallet will allocate localized teams across strategic geographical regions. Through this approach, the new COO believes the wallet will successfully capture locals in different regions through customized crypto storage solutions.
