While a new hacking incident occurs every day in the cryptocurrency market, the last victim of the hackers was the on-chain trading platform Thunder Terminal.
According to the post by ZachXBT, today the attacker sent 86.5 Ethereum (worth $192,000) from Thunder Terminal to DeFi platform Railgun.
Making a statement about the incident, Thunder Terminal said that 114 wallets were affected by the hacking incident, but “the funds are safe.”
Stating that the funds are safe, the Thunder team said:
“No one’s private keys were compromised. Only 114 of over 14,000 wallets were affected by the hack.
Funds are safe. “We stopped the attack in about 9 minutes.”
The team also stated that 86.5611512804 ETH and 439.12232317 Solana )SOL) were stolen as a result of the hacking incident, stating that “all lost funds will be refunded in full and affected users will be given a 0% fee and a $100 thousand credit each.” said.
