Unstoppable Domains Expands Into LatAm And Asia in A ‘Calculated Move’

Unstoppable Domains, the largest web3 domain name company by number of domains registered, announced today it will add twelve new registrars as part of a widespread expansion into Latin America and Southeast Asia.

DominiosWeb3, NoNameMonster, Entorno, EndlessDomains, and DotNames will be now added to the Unstoppable Domain umbrella. These will allow the company to expand from its commonly used .x, .crypto, .nft, .wallet, .polygon, .dao domain names.

The companies will now be able to tap into the Unstoppable Domains Partner API, and launch domains in native languages across both regions.

The expansion aims to grab market share in two huge ecosystems for the crypto industry. 

Southeast Asia has long been touted as welcoming for crypto enterprises thanks to the widespread regulatory frameworks being set up across the region. South America boasts countries with high levels of crypto adoption, uncluding Argentina and Brazil.

“This strategic expansion is a calculated move,” said Sandy Carter, COO of Unstoppable Domains. She told The Defiant both regions highlight rapid digital transformation, tech savvy young population, and a booming crypto ecosystem.

Carter explained that this is only an expansion, however, and that the U.S. market continues to be their largest and most important.
