Robinhood is expanding its services to the UK market by introducing commission-free stock trading for retail investors. The company, known for benefiting from the “meme-stock” craze during the pandemic, has started gradually onboarding clients and is currently offering trading of over 6,000 US-listed stocks and securities through a waitlist. The service is expected to be immediately available for UK users starting in 2024. Robinhood’s CEO, Vlad Tenev, has confirmed the international debut of the company.
