Good grief, I’m so sick. Sick and tired. Just absolutely wiped out, falling asleep at the keyboard and all that jazz.

So please do bear with me. I don’t think I have much in the way of a clever preamble so we can just skip ahead and get to the good stuff.

But before we do that, happy October! It’s almost Halloween time!

Wordle Bot Analysis

After each Wordle I solve I head over to the Wordle Bot homepage to see how my guessing game was.

A bit of whiplash today. My opening guess left me with a whopping 255 remaining options (I picked sugar because of the new Wes Anderson / Roald Dahl short on Netflix). I went with worth because I wanted something that would move the ‘R’ and lo and behold, it came up green!

I could think of just two words at this point, though later Wordle Bot said I had three to choose from. I thought of merit and beret and went with my instinct. Not a good choice! Oh well, at least I guessed beret on guess #4.

I get 0 points for guessing in four and -1 for losing to tricksy Bot. -1 all told. Oh well!

Today’s Wordle Etymology
