VeChain recently announced its latest self-custody wallet, named VeWorld Mobile. The app is already live for Android and iOS devices on their respective Play Stores.
The network released an official post to share the information with users. According to the post, VeWorld Mobile will generate private keys on users’ local devices. It will ensure that users hold the keys, avoiding the hassle of middlemen.
Using reliable cryptocurrency wallets can reduce security risks for traders globally. That is why VeChain is helping traders, whether they use Ledger hardware wallets or mnemonic phrases.
The new VeChain wallet is integrated with WalletConnect to maintain the highest blockchain standard. The integration promotes VeChain’s objective of facilitating seamless interoperability for developers and dApps.
The network will push out updates regularly with quality-of-life upgrades. VeChain has established a dedicated team for the wallet that is constantly exploring and evaluating the best features for sustainability.

The NFT viewer is another major feature added to the VeWorld Mobile wallet. Users can now view their NFT collections through a tab in their wallet. They can even list and mint the NFTs at zero cost.
