Nigeria is now the country with the highest awareness of cryptocurrencies in the world. According to a recent report from ConsenSys, 99% of Nigerians surveyed were aware of cryptocurrencies, with 70% having a good knowledge of blockchain technology, and 90% expressing willingness to invest. The report shows that Nigeria and other African countries see cryptocurrencies as a financial opportunity and security, rather than just a speculative asset. Experts see this as a significant opportunity for growth and adoption of digital assets in the country.
