First Trump Co-Defendant Surrenders In Georgia Election Case

Topline

One of former President Donald Trump’s co-defendants in his Georgia election interference case, Scott Hall, surrendered Tuesday to authorities in Fulton County—making him the first of 19 defendants to turn themselves in before Friday’s deadline, with Trump expected to surrender on Thursday.

Key Facts

Hall, who reached an agreement with prosecutors Monday to post a $10,000 bond and report to pre-trial supervision every 30 days as a condition of his release, was booked Tuesday at Fulton County Jail, according to jail records.

Hall, who works as a bail bondsman, was charged last week alongside Trump and 17 others with racketeering, plus six other charges largely related to a scheme prosecutors say Hall and other Trump affiliates carried out to hack into voting software in Coffee County.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
