EverMigrate is a token migration solution offered by the EverRise project. Essentially, it allows holders of certain tokens to upgrade them to a newer version, if the token’s project releases an updated version of the token.

The EverMigrate solution is used by the Volt Inu project to allow users to upgrade from their VOLT V2 tokens to VOLT V3 tokens. 

Currently, this address is the largest VOLT holder and holds approximately 13.5% of the VOLT token supply.

2. Dead address (burn address)

As you can see, this address is quite unusual in that it mostly consists of zeroes, and ends with the string “dEaD”. This is not a coincidence — this address is often called the “dead address”, and is used by many Ethereum-based projects to burn tokens. 

This is an address that nobody has the private keys for, which means that tokens sent to the address are essentially destroyed forever (unless the cryptography underpinning Ethereum is somehow compromised in the future).

The dead address of course doesn’t just hold VOLT, as it also contains many other tokens from projects that have conducted token burns.

This address is an instance of an atomic swap service offered by a project called OKLG (ok.let’s.go.). This service allows users to swap tokens that are issued on different blockchain platforms. The address is currently the third largest VOLT holder, with 7.4 trillion VOLT tokens valued at $1.7 million.

This liquidity pool allows users to swap between VOLT and ETH directly on the Ethereum blockchain through smart contracts alone, removing the need for users to trust centralized exchanges.

The liquidity pool currently holds about $807,000 worth of VOLT tokens and roughly the same worth of ETH. This is because in an automated market maker such as Uniswap, the total value of the two tokens that make up a liquidity pool is designed to be balanced.

A wallet controlled by the Gate.io cryptocurrency exchange ranks 5th when it comes to the biggest Volt Inu coin holders. Gate.io is a cryptocurrency exchange that is known for listing hundreds of different cryptocurrencies, and this even includes coins with a very low market cap. 

As is usually the case with exchange wallets, this Gate.io wallet doesn’t just hold one type of token. In addition to its VOLT holdings, the wallet also has large quantities of other ERC-20 tokens such as USDT, WBTC, SHIB, USDC and others. 

6. Unknown whale wallet #1

Holdings: 872 billion

This wallet’s only notable holding is VOLT, although it also holds a small amount of ETH, likely to pay for transaction fees. The wallet received its stack of 872 billion VOLT tokens by interacting with the EverMigrate, which we have featured earlier in the list. The address has occasionally interacted with the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange, as well as Uniswap.  

7. ChangeNOW exchange address

Holdings: 857 billion

The seventh largest Volt Inu holder is an address controlled by the ChangeNOW cryptocurrency exchange. The wallet’s roughly $203,000 worth of VOLT is only part of its holdings, which total about $4.3 million.

The ChangeNOW service allows users to easily swap between two different cryptocurrencies or buy/sell cryptocurrency with fiat. One of the reasons for its popularity is that it supports many cryptocurrencies with a low market cap, which includes Volt Inu.

8. MEXC exchange wallet

Holdings: 797 billion

The list of the 10 biggest Volt Inu holders is rounded out by an anonymous whale’s wallet who migrated a large amount of VOLT tokens from V2 to V3 in May of 2023. After completing this migration, the wallet has been dormant with no ongoing transactions. 

This whale’s commitment to HODLing Volt Inu is quite impressive since the value of the tokens in the wallet has decreased from roughly $615,000 at the time of the migration to a current value of $181,000, which is a drop of 70.5%.

The bottom line
