The Tulane Association of Business Alumni (TABA) has announced that it is set to host its 44th annual Tulane Business Forum, titled “Winning Strategies: Louisiana’s Next Generation Economy.”
TABA, an organization representing over 25,000 alumni from Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business, has been hosting the event for several years, which has become popularly recognised as a premier platform for discussing regional and national business trends.
Hosted by the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and underwritten by Cadence Insurance, Entergy Corporation and LCMC Health, the forum is scheduled for Friday, September 15th. Industry pioneers will converge at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on that day to dissect the state’s transition from traditional sectors like oil and gas to an innovation-driven economy.
Speaking on the anticipated event, Louis David (MBA ’11), president of TABA, said, “Louisiana’s economy has long been driven by industries like oil and gas, health care and hospitality, but now we’re seeing a shift, with visionary leaders embracing new technologies, approaches and business models.”
Hence, David explained that the 44th annual Tulane Business Forum will showcase some of these future-focused executives who are developing winning strategies for the future.
Paulo Goes, dean of the Freeman School, also emphasized the importance of topics covered in the forum, such as energy transition, climate change’s financial implications, real estate dynamics, and healthcare evolution. He noted that these subjects would be central to business management over the next decade.
Poised to showcase Louisiana’s emergence as a hub of innovation and business ingenuity, the 44th annual Tulane Business Forum promises to inspire and guide the next generation of economic leaders. Hence, it has received support from notable sponsors, including Cadence Insurance, Entergy Corporation, and LCMC Health.
According to the announcement, Keynote presentations will be delivered by two prominent figures who shaped Louisiana’s economic landscape. Dan Real, Chief Experience Officer of Caesars Digital, will unveil the trajectory of sports betting. At the same time, Gregory C. Feirn, CEO of LCMC Health, will offer insights into the rapidly evolving healthcare sector.
Furthermore, engaging panel discussions will feature moderators like Lacy McManus of Greater New Orleans, Inc., Andrew “AJ” Brooks of A. B. Freeman School of Business, and Nene Glenn Gianfala of Chaffe & Associates, Inc. Attendees can expect valuable insights and networking opportunities throughout the event.
The event’s distinguished speakers include Laura Beauchamp of Entergy, Colette Hirstius of Shell, James Martin of Gulf Wind Technology, and several other industry luminaries. These experts will address a range of topics, including energy transition, real estate development, ESG, and changing tax regulations.
