SEI, a new blockchain-based cryptocurrency, is set to make its debut on Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. The SEI token will be offered as a futures contract, similar to IOU futures. The token’s circulating supply will be 1.8 billion, or 18% of the total supply of 10 billion, making it worth $486 million at an initial price of 26 cents. The cryptocurrency is expected to rank among the top 100 cryptocurrencies. This latest addition to the crypto market marks another step towards the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology.
