Day 2 Recap on the Event’s Key Moments

Polkadot, the blockchain ecosystem, once again shared the latest key moments from its biggest event of the year, Polkadot Decoded 2023. June 29, 2023, was the second day of the event, while the blockchain ecosystem had previously added about the day-1 highlights.

As per its recent tweet shared on June 29, 2023, the blockchain ecosystem noted “the parachains and projects built in its ecosystem continue to push the industry forwards.”

Day-2 Highlights from Polkadot Decoded

The blockchain ecosystem mentioned day- 2’s “key takeaways from its biggest event of the year.” At first, it added Vodafone, a British multinational telecommunications company, “brings the aviation industry into the Web3 era via Polkadot.” Vodafone U.K. chose Polkadot parachain Aventus Network “to help their airline clients better manage cargo pallets.”

The blockchain lead of Vodafone, David Palmer, said “with Aventus and Heathrow we’re using a live IoT network to have secure, encrypted devices at either end… it’s the first of many use cases we’ll provide that link real-world devices to the blockchain.”

Sony, a Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation, backs Startale Labs, Watanbe Sota, founder of Astar Network, also joined the conference virtually from Japan. On June 28, 2023, it was announced “Sony is investing $3.5M into Startale Labs, Astar Network’s chief developer.”

Web3 Interest of Enterprises  with The Blockchain Ecosystem

The interest of leading enterprises towards web3 adoption seems to have increased in recent years. The blockchain event highlighted that “gaming is a major growth driver for Web3 adoption.” Meanwhile, Mythical Games CEO, John Linden, noted “gaming is the fastest growing use of digital assets, and teased upcoming collaborations with the following-

-Porsche, a German automobile manufacturer,

-FaZe Clan, a digital-native lifestyle brand and media -platform, and

-Nitro Nation Game- a video game.

It must be noted “Mythical Game’s ‘NFL Rivals’ game recently surpassed 1M downloads in the app store.”

The blockchain ecosystem further turned towards the security of its blockspace, as it added “there will soon be a faster way to access its blockspace in a secure way. OpenZeppelin, a leading blockchain security company, will leverage the expertise it developed building standard libraries for EVM compatible chains to help create parachain runtimes libraries.”

By representing a strong community, the blockchain ecosystem also stated “Urban Osvald, from the Developer Relations team at Parity Tech, highlighted the continued enthusiasm from the ever-growing Polkadot community.”

To cap it all off, Beatport, an American electronic music-oriented online music store, will host the official Polkadot Decoded closing party at Copenhagen’s legendary Hangaren venue. Here, the music will performed by “Len Faki, Gina Jeanz, Lovecatt, Tsuniman and Special Guest (TBA).”

As per the upcoming event highlights of the blockchain ecosystem, it lastly mentioned “the next major event on the calendar is Sub0, the Polkadot developer conference, coming to Lisbon, September 19th and 20th, 2023.”
